It is well established that G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) exhibit significant instability during the purification process. By integrating a specific protein complex (termed M-Protein) into the first, second, or third intracellular loops of GPCRs, MegaR technology enables GPCRs to achieve enhanced stability. To date, we have successfully produced over 110 GPCRs. This technique maintains the ligand-free, native conformation of MegaR-engineered GPCRs at their transmembrane and extracellular regions, making them particularly suitable for small-molecule and peptide screening, as well as antibody discovery.
